The above pricing clearly demonstrates the price saving for ethernetservices including gigabit ethernet connections. For businesses with multiple locations, gigabit ethernet connections provide a simple, cost-effective solution to private network interconnectivity. You can achieve a point-to-point or any-to-any connectivity, or a mixture of both. Gigabit ethernet is perfect of high speed interent access between locations (point to point or point to multipoint).
Fast ethernet connections range from 100Mbps up to 1Gbps and ethernet connection service providers offer 24x7 monitoring and customer care, Service Level Agreements, supplied CPE plus support for 10BaseT, 100BaseTX and 1000LX. Reduce WAN performance bottlenecks with bandwidths from 100Mbps up to 1Gbps (Gigabit Ethernet), freeing you from WAN transport performance constraints. Gigabit ethernet network connections also allow you to:
- Simplify LAN / WAN transport interconnection management
- Lower costs by reducing the need for in-house transport technical staff
- Implement a solution that can scale to support your business as it grows
- Simplify the interconnection of your locations within and between metro areas
- Ensure optimum LAN speed performance when sending data
- Eliminate your need to purchase or manage transport Customer Premise Equipment
- Backed by customer care representatives dedicated to servicing your account 24x7.
Ethernet over Copper Service
Ethernet over copper service is a eliable and efficient way to connect
Local Area Networks (LANs) within and between metropolitan areas at
affordable rates. Using ethernet over copper technology, service providers
are able to provide businesses at copper-fed locations with an easy
plug-and-play solution for linking multiple locations on one network.
Ethernet over Copper Primary Benefits
- Access standards-based Ethernet protocol for private data applications and services.
- Get 10Mbps serial managed connectivity from point-to-point between two cities
- Ensure optimum speed performance when sending data between your locations.
- Simplify LAN / WAN transport interconnection management
- Frees you from WAN transport performance constraints
- Nationwide, facilities-based, state-of-the-art OC-192 Internet Protocol (IP) backbone
- Backed by industry level Service Level Agreements
- Eliminate the need to invest in new equipment for high bandwidth capabilities
- Lower costs by reducing the need for in-house transport technical staff
- Scalable to support data demands up to 10Mbps speed
- 24x7 customer support and proactive network monitoring and single invoice billing.
Gigabit Ethernet Connection Overview
Ethernet is both a prevalent and a widely understood protocol especially in the LAN environment. It has a reputation for being both cost effective and reliable. Constrained for many years to the LAN environment, recent advances in fibre optic technology and switching electronics, as well a greatly reduced bandwidth costs, have meant that it is now both possible and cost effective to extend Ethernet services across both metropolitan and national networks. Using Ethernet across the WAN and MAN greatly simplifies both network design and management overhead as well as offering far higher levels of bandwidth at much lower cost than traditional leased line based services.
Gigabit Ethernet Sales has a portfolio of National and Metropolitan Ethernet Service Providers. Gigabit Ethernet service provides point to multipoint and any to any services from 1Mbit to 1Gbit anywhere within a 25Km radius of our carreir's points of presence. Ideal as a transport for private Enterprise customer IP networks or as complete fabric for an ISP's national Ethernet services, Gigabit Ethernet provides true utility grade service.
GCG provides robust, dedicated point to point Ethernet services, either between any two of our Carrier PoPs or between customer locations via Carrier PoPs. Services are available with 100 and Gigabit interfaces and may be scaled down below each of those speeds to meet individual customer needs. Gigabit Ethernet can be used as either a "long line" LAN extension service between customer locations or as a PoP to PoP service for Service Providers.
Bespoke Ethernet is, as the name suggests, an individually designed private Ethernet service hosted on privately installed fibres between premises, or one of our carrier's metropolitan fibre networks, or upon national optical wavelengths, or on any combination of the three. Ethernet/bespoke services are used by major corporate customers and service providers alike and accommodate the need for specific geographic coverage (perhaps involving civils and construction work), customer nominated technologies and specific service characteristics.
